We Need Real Leaders…Now!

It is disheartening to see how many ministers are still going about their ministries with a business-as-usual approach. There is absolutely no sense of urgency, no call to arms, no holy war being waged on the enemy. Moreover, many do not even know we are in a war.

So, they are still preaching the same yawn-worthy sermons, still hyping up the audience with the same pop culture entertainment, and, of course, still raking in tithes by the millions.

These ministers act as if the year was still 2019 when our streets were not filled with BLM inc. and Antifa anarchists attempting to take over cities and suburbs alike; when there were no blocks-long bread lines throughout America; when state and local governments were not flippantly shutting down our churches and completely desecrating our God-given freedoms…

When upstanding, law-abiding citizens were not getting fined and arrested on the streets for not wearing face masks; when politicians and healthcare conglomerates were not pushing for a nationwide vaccine mandate; when the suicide rate was just sort of high, not going through the roof like it is now; when drug addiction was only a national problem and not a national epidemic like it is now…

When our schools were just cauldrons of communist indoctrination, not training grounds for creating belligerent, militant revolutionaries; when Christians were just losing the culture war, not being harangued by the mob and hunted down like wild animals.

WAKE UP! This is not 2019 anymore. This is the year 2020, and we need clear, 20/20 vision now more than ever before. We need real leaders who have their eyes opened to the reality of this war.

Okay. Now, let’s talk about one of the latest and biggest failures of you leaders out there. Remember this one thing as you read, “My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in” (Proverbs 3:11-12).

As God has ordained, the church has been a place of hope and refuge for nearly two millennia. Thus, we never should have shut those doors for coronavirus—probably not even for a minute. You pastors may think the governors forced your church doors to be shut, but no. You chose to comply with an evil, unconstitutional, irrational edict. You think your first duty as a pastor is to protect people’s health and wellbeing. WRONG. Your first and highest calling is to protect the health and wellbeing of souls.

Hey, remember almost 19 years ago when 9/11 happened? Did you close your doors then for fear of more terrorist attacks? Of course not. You swung wide the doors for the hurting and hopeless—because the distraught and despairing go to church to seek God in times of trouble.

Online services are a wonderful advent of the 21st century. They really are. They help reach people who would never even dream of darkening the door of a church. However, when people are literally dying of loneliness, virtual community simply won’t cut it.

I firmly believe the church and its leaders will have to answer to God Almighty for most of the suicides, homicides, domestic abuse, substance abuse, and overdoses that are happening because of social isolation. My friend, the point when the daily rate of suicides exceeds the daily rate of COVID deaths should tell you that it is long past time to reopen the church doors with no attendance limits, no social distancing, no restrictions. Period.

Furthermore, if you and your fellow pastors had not shut down the House of God, we would have been seeing Holy Spirit outpouring and revival on the streets for the past three months instead of rioting. You and your church could have prepared the way for the Lord to move in this land. But by doing what you were told by the government, you have missed a gigantic opportunity to beckon a nation back to Jesus Christ. Unless you repent, your missed opportunity will now be turned over to someone who will faithfully and responsibly discharge their duty before God.

I know you’re probably foaming at the mouth and calling me all sorts of names, but all in Christian love, of course. You insist that you did the right thing and helped to save thousands of lives by curbing the spread of the virus. I disagree strongly. Would you like to know why?

I will answer that question with a question. What do we do about disease in Christendom? Actually, what did Christ do about disease? Um, let me think. Oh, I know! He healed people, didn’t he?! He even touched the lepers, and their disease was also quite contagious. But He was not afraid.

So, did any one of you dare to hold a healing crusade against the government’s illegal mandates? Did anyone dare to announce, “Hey, if you have coronavirus, come to our church, and we will pray for you to be healed in the Name of Jesus!”? NO! You let the government tell you what your response to this disease should be instead of going to God and asking Him what you should do about it. You laid down the Bible’s guidelines on sickness and disease to follow the CDC’s guidelines.

I can’t imagine being more disgusted and disappointed with America’s pastors than I am right now. I am sick to my stomach over the pungent lies coming from pretend men and women of God. I know I should not be surprised by the falling away of leaders, but I have to admit it still bothers me greatly because they are leading my loved ones astray.

Even so, I still have hope for this Body in this land. I know a God who works miracles. I know He will work a miracle for His people in America—if only we will turn from our wicked ways.

“Do not be like your parents and your fellow Israelites, who were unfaithful to the Lord, the God of their ancestors, so that he made them an object of horror, as you see. Do not be stiff-necked, as your ancestors were; submit to the Lord. Come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever. Serve the Lord your God, so that his fierce anger will turn away from you. If you return to the Lord, then your fellow Israelites and your children will be shown compassion by their captors and will return to this land, for the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn his face from you if you return to him.” (2 Chronicles 30:7-9, NIV).

Calling all His people to repentance,

Morgan

P.S. Share this post with your pastors and Christian leaders. Tell them this is your vote of “no confidence” in their leadership abilities. Tell them that even if they no longer believe in the healing power of the Blood of Jesus, you still do. Tell them you refuse to bow before government. Tell them that government does not know what is best for the Body of Christ; Christ does. “This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: ‘I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go’” (Isaiah 48:17, NIV)

STOP! Don’t share this post on social media! If you are afraid of cancel culture and Big Tech censorship, then do NOT share this post. Because they will go after you for sharing this kind of material, a.k.a. the Truth. Don’t for a second believe they won’t. Sharing is not for the faint of heart. But go do it anyway.
