It is Finished!

In case you were wondering, I’m still here. I had to take a break from writing for a little while, but I have not left you in this moment of chaos and confusion.

So, where are we right now? Well, we have a mainstream (Marxist) media that has prematurely coronated Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential election. We have a President who, during times of unprecedented voter fraud, has promised to contest the results before the Supreme Court. So, despite the outright lies you hear on TV or social media, we have a contested election.

Let’s get something else straight, now.

This is considered in the natural realm to be a contested election, but we know that there is no real contest between light and darkness. “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).

No matter what my eyes see, I believe with my whole being that the victory, that President Trump’s reelection, is already sealed in the courts of Heaven! We have only yet to see it manifest on Earth.

In my Spirit, I hear the words, “It is finished!” This is what Jesus said on the Cross not to announce the completion of defeat, but to announce the completion of the victory. Yes, the triumph over sin and death was already accomplished with Jesus’ death on the Cross.

Now, several days ago—I think it might have been on Election Day, but I’m not sure—this phrase popped into my mind: “the sign of Jonah.” I immediately remembered that Jesus used this phrase, but I could not remember what it meant. Later that day, I flipped open my Bible to…guess where. Uh huh. I randomly opened my Bible to the exact passage where Jesus spoke those words. No such thing as coincidence in the Kingdom!

Oh, I suppose you want to know what this phrase means. Haha. Well, let’s put it into context first:

“Then some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to him, ‘Teacher, we want to see a sign from you.’ He answered, ‘A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth'” (Matthew 12:38-40).

In short, when Jesus spoke of “the sign of the prophet Jonah,” he was prophesying his death and Resurrection. When He brought that phrase to my mind and confirmed it in Scripture, I believe God was telling me that a resurrection would occur in this election. What has to happen before a resurrection, though? A death, of course.

What does the scene look like right now? It looks like the reelection of Donald Trump is dead in the water. Could it be, though, that just like with the crucifixion of Jesus, the victory is already won? Could it be that the victory was won on Election Day and has only yet to manifest? Could it be that the death we see right now is actually a sign that resurrection is coming?

Yes, the victory has already been won! The declaration of our Jesus almost two millennia ago echoes into today, shouting over America, “It is finished! It is done! I am still victorious over death! I am the Resurrection and the Life! I will revive what is dead and raise this nation to life!”

Just like when satan enjoyed a premature and very short victory celebration after Jesus died on the Cross, he and his followers are prematurely celebrating again. I am sure they are thinking they have taken America down. They are thinking their time has come to deceive the whole world with the restraining force of America moved out of the way.

Let me just burst that bubble right now. The kingdom of darkness is in for its biggest disappointment since Jesus was raised from the grave.

Mark my words. Actually, mark God’s Word. We will soon witness with our own eyes a sudden and miraculous resurrection as the breath of God revives His anointed servant, Donald Trump!

Does this mean we can stop warring for a while and rest on our laurels? The answer is still no. I hate to break it to you, but the Christian life is a life of warfare. We have been called to fight for what is right, and we battle an enemy that desires to deceive as many as possible. The body of Christ is here to keep him from achieving that objective.

Until God Himself issues the stand down order, we fight on. We take up the sword of the Spirit and keep swinging until strongholds fall down, dead men rise up, and souls surrender to the Spirit of God.

So, now what? Each of us needs to ask the Lord for our marching orders, and we need to do so on a daily basis.

I believe I know one thing that pertains to all of us. One thing we all must do is choose to completely shut out lying voices. When you are on the battlefield, it is really difficult to focus on the fight when you are listening to the enemy’s propaganda.

We must all make the simple, yet critical choice of turning off every voice that is speaking lies over the election. Anyone that says Joseph Stalin Biden has won is lying. Anyone that says he is President-elect is lying. Anything that contradicts the report of the Lord, that Donald Trump has won reelection, is fake news!

Do not listen to the false prophets of fake news. Their toxic lies will cloud your vision. Do not allow such toxicity to penetrate your atmosphere. Do not allow it to stifle your prayer, worship, and warfare even for a moment.

Believe the report of the Lord. We don’t know what God has been preparing behind the scenes, but we know it is good. Rejoice, for Resurrection Day is coming!

Final thoughts:

I have spent all my anger. I have spent all my tears. It is time to laugh as does our Lord at those who plot in vain against Him and His Anointed.

Why do the nations conspire
    and the peoples plot in vain?
The kings of the earth rise up
    and the rulers band together
    against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
“Let us break their chains
    and throw off their shackles.”

The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
    the Lord scoffs at them.
He rebukes them in his anger
    and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
“I have installed my king
    on Zion, my holy mountain.” (Psalm 2:1-6)

P.S. We cannot afford to align our decrees with the devil. We must align our decrees with Heaven, and we must align ourselves with those who align with Heaven.

As you are turning off fake news, you will need to replace it with the truth. Start with reading the Word and listening to the Spirit of God.
