Here you will find a collection of every prayer I have shared throughout the blog. I will also occasionally share prayers not posted in the blog. One of the greatest weapons, no, the greatest weapon, we have as believers is the Word of God (see Hebrews 4:12 and Ephesians 6:17), so you will find that most of the content of these prayers comes straight from the Word.
When you don’t know what to pray, go to the Word and pray the Word. Then, when you need to or when you feel called, you can come here to find templates that will help you pray and pray specifically for our nation. These prayers are not formulas. They are merely guides.
Even though New Testament believers are not solely relegated to spiritual warfare (e.g. God expects us to occupy until Jesus comes), it is through prayer, intercession, and decree that we will win the spiritual battle being waged over the soul of our nation. Jesus commissioned His disciples (that includes us, folks) not just to win souls, but to “make disciples of all nations” (see Matthew 28:19). So, join me in breaking down demonic strongholds over America, so we can then proceed to make disciples of people and of nations.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” (Matthew 18:19 NKJV). Well, here I am and here you are. That makes two by my count.
Please Father God, wake up Your people. Do whatever it takes, Lord, to shake them unto awakening. Call them to prayer and repentance. In the Name of Jesus, we come against and bind up any and all lying spirits and spirits of deception that have blinded the eyes of the saints. We release the Holy Spirit to open their eyes and ears to the Truth. You are the chain-breaker, Jesus. You are the one who rescued us from the bondage of sin and made us Your bondservants. With the authority vested in us by Jesus, the Son of God, we declare and decree that the enemy’s chains of deception which bind the people of God are broken, once and for all. We say that today marks the beginning of our freedom and being enabled to walk freely in Your Truth. Dear God, hear our cries and heal our land. For your Son and in His precious Name, Jesus. Amen.
God, I choose to serve You alone, now and forever. I am finished with living in the insane, never-ending cycle of idolatry. As for me and my house, we will serve You alone. No other god will ever again come before You in our lives. Jesus, You are my King. I love and worship You with my whole being. Put to death anything that is between us or that would try to come between us. Send your angels to hold me up and keep me from stumbling on any trap of idolatry the enemy would put in my way. I praise You today for setting me free and for vanquishing the sin of idolatry with your mighty Blood. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Lord, our nation deserves all the judgement in the world for our sins, especially for the heinous sin of abortion. Father, You say that You delight in showing mercy and that Your mercy triumphs over judgement. We repent of our sins once again, and we ask You for an outpouring of undeserved mercy for our land.
We have sucked royally up until now. In this moment, we declare before the world and all of Heaven that we will finish the race well. We will speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves. Abortion is not acceptable in Heaven, so we are not accepting it here. Today, we are breaking the silence.
We will not allow tyrants to get in the way of the Justice that must be done. We implore You to wake up Your people and cause them to take action. We ask You again for an overwhelming victory in November for Your anointed servant, Donald J. Trump, and for all those who are standing for Righteousness and Justice. Your Kingdom come; Your will be done in America as it is in Heaven. In the all-powerful Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Father God, on this Day of Atonement, we turn to You with our whole hearts. We fall upon the mercy of the Cross. We thank You that the Blood of Jesus has paid once and for all for the atonement of our sins. We need Your Blood, Jesus, to wash away and cleanse us of our sins once again. We know that our sins are grievous to You, and we are driven to tears over our filth. But even so, our sins are not able to drain Your Blood of its Power. So, we say: purify us and make us white as snow.
We do not count ourselves worthy to inquire of a Holy God, but still we come boldly before Your throne of grace and ask You to spare this nation. We ask this not for ourselves or for the sake of America, but for the sake of the world, for the sake of Your Glory, and for the sake of Your Name. Do not let Your enemies boast over the destruction of America. We know You are gracious and merciful, and we cling with all our might to Your promise of mercy. We refuse to let go until You bless us. It is in the Name of Jesus that we hope and pray. Amen and Hallelujah.
Lord, “while we were still sinners, Christ died” to save us. It is for this reason we know You are able and willing to save the USA even while it is still a sin-filled land. We come before Your throne of grace in humility and repentance. We acknowledge that all our human efforts are worthless unless You come. God, without You, America would have already gone under.
We ask again for You to anoint this man Donald John Trump to be our president for another four years! Give him the supernatural grace, strength, and ability to perform his job and overcome any and all attacks of the enemy! In the Name of Jesus, we send forth angelic hosts to protect him, his family, and every single righteous person in this land. We ask that You guard over this election with Your mighty hand and outstretched arm.
We boldly ask for You to do exceedingly, abundantly, and far above all that we ask. We desire for You to be Lord over America once again! Lord, we do not want an outpouring of war. We want and we need a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit, Your grace, and Your mercy on this nation. Our sins are great, but thanks be to You, the Blood of Your Son Jesus is greater!
Father, instead of the fires of division and war descending upon our land, we decree that the fire of Holy Spirit will fall on our streets, consuming every drop of hatred and shining forth the all-consuming Agape Love of God!
We decree that the weight of God’s inescapable Presence will bind up, render immovable, and leave ineffective every person, devil, and force of hell that would try to bring about violence, war, or any form of destruction in America!
We decree that the ferocious mercy of God will unleash a great and mighty move of the Holy Spirit, bringing awakening, revival, and harvest to the United States of America the likes of which have never been seen before in the history of the world!
We decree that, as God’s chosen people, we will finally use our full authority and power as co-heirs with Christ to operate in the supernatural on a daily basis where signs, wonders, and miracles are commonplace and any semblance of “ordinary Christianity” is out of the ordinary!
We wait in the hope of Your rescue!
We are confident that You can and will do all of this and more! We decree and declare it be done in the Holy Name of the Lamb who was slain, JESUS! Amen!
Lord, by faith, we have sown seeds of righteousness into our land. We call forth the harvest of those seeds, for they are the planting of the Lord. We declare life over our communities, cities, and states, and we put a bounty on the head of the enemy so that he will no longer be able to steal, kill, and destroy. The hunter has become the hunted. The hangman has become the hanged.
Even if our fellow Christian soldiers desert in the face of enemy fire, we will never desert or abandon our faith. Even if we are the only ones left fighting, we will never surrender to the kingdom of darkness. For the sake of Your little ones, we soldier on. For the sake of Your chosen nation, Israel, we pursue our enemy until he is utterly defeated.
We join our faith and our prayers with those of generations past. We call forth the full, divine manifest destiny of America as it was prophesied by her founders and our ancestors. Do not let Your Word fall to the ground. Do not let Your Name and Your prophets be mocked in the public square. Let Your enemies be brought to utter shame. Let the Light of Christ shine through and pierce the darkness, revealing every lie, every scheme, and every hidden agenda to unseat the King of kings as Lord over America.
Reveal and remove every wicked ruler in our government, in our schools, and in the marketplace. Reveal and remove every pastor and Christian leader who is in league with anti-Christ. Send forth Your holy hosts to war like never before. Strengthen them to break through every wall, force, obstacle, and hindrance which stands between this country and the greatest revival ever seen on the face of this earth. You are a Mighty God, and You can do all things without the help of another being, but we thank You that we get to participate in building Your Kingdom! Your Kingdom come, Your will be done in America as it is in Heaven! Yours is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, we seem to have run out of words, but You know what is in our hearts for this country. We pray for our family, friends, and fellow countrymen that You would use this blackout to shock them awake. We pray for our President that You would strengthen and comfort him and his family, that You would shield him in every way from any betrayal, that You would send forth Your mighty angelic hosts to protect and war for him, and that You would give our President and his loyal advisors the wisdom, courage, and ability to defeat the enemy.
Lord, we ask that You make this time of darkness as short-lived as possible. We ask that You prevent any deadly uprising or revolution from spilling into the streets. No matter what happens, we trust in You. No matter what happens, we stand for You. We believe You will come through just like You said You would. Nothing can stop what is coming. Nothing can stop You, the LORD of Hosts. Help us to put away doubt and unbelief. Help us as we help each other hold on to hope. This is Your day, Lord! Do what You do best.
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. (Matt. 6:9-13)
In the everlasting Name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Father, the backside of the tapestry that You’re weaving seems dark, chaotic, and even foreboding. But we fully trust in your faithfulness and goodness, knowing that the reveal of Your masterpiece will create shock and awe at all the millions of intricate ways you made beauty out of ashes. And we shall exclaim, “How could You be this good?!” Because when we look back, we’ll see where Your marvelous Light was.
Lord, we desire to see Your justice rain down upon the evildoers. Let the trouble they have caused recoil on them, and let their violence come down on their own heads (Ps. 7:16). But let mercy be granted to the souls of those who repent of their wrongdoing. For the sake of the elect, shorten these days of tribulation that we may not be deceived. Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before You! (Isa. 64:1). In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
Dear God, hold me back. I already feel the righteous indignation rising within me, that burning hatred of all that is wicked and at war with the King of Heaven. I ask You to help me keep my nose clean while at the same time not allowing evil to speak unopposed. Help me strongly rebuke the lies but forgive the sinner.
God, give Your people eyes to see and ears to hear what only You are saying. Give us discernment, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and insight. Please, God. I implore You to spare Your precious children from falling away into deception. Lead us in the paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake. Be our refuge in this coming storm. Hide us in the cleft of the rock. Lord Jesus, keep us true!
Here we are. Lord, won’t You do a great work of reformation within Your people?! Purify us in Your fire that we may be ready to labor in the fields with You and bring in the harvest. Lord, send revival. Spirit, move. Heaven, break out. We praise You, Jesus! We thank You for who You are and what You are about to do! In the everlasting, all-powerful Name of Jesus, we pray! Amen!
Devil, this is not your day. You will not have your way in the USA, no way. This is God’s day, and He always gets His way. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
Lord, for the sake of the world, for the sake of revival, for the sake of this generation, we stand for Your Word. Donald John Trump is the man you have anointed as our president. We call him forth NOW by Your Dunamis Resurrection power! The work is already finished in heaven, but the time is NOW for the victory to be manifested on Earth. The time is NOW for the suffering of Your precious children to end.
You are the God of revival. You are the God of resurrection. We will see Your goodness in the land of the living. We will see Your justice and wrath fall upon the heads of the wicked. We will see a mighty outpouring of Your Spirit. Nothing can stop You from coming!
We stand AS ONE and declare to the enemy, YOU HAVE LOST! WE HAVE WON! YOU HAVE LOST! WE HAVE WON! YOU HAVE LOST! WE HAVE WON!
We pray and declare all of this in Jesus’ Mighty and Matchless Name. Amen. Let it be done.
